Viktor Hovland will be looking to win the
Genesis Open for the first time when he takes part in this year's tournament.
The Norwegian star is among the best golfers in the world at the moment and he is currently placed fourth on the Official World Golf Ranking.
Hovland is coming into this tournament having won the 2022 Slync.io Dubai Desert Classic which is part of the European Tour.

The Oslo-born star won the Slync.io Dubai Desert Classic; after shooting a final-round 66, he made a birdie on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff to defeat Richard Bland.
The win lifted Hovland to number three in the Official World Golf Ranking and he has also tasted success on the PGA Tour in recent years.
The Oklahoma-based golfer won the Puerto Rico Open and Mayakoba Golf Classic in 2020 as he established himself as one of golf's elite players.
Hovland then added the World Wide Technology Championship title to his trophy collection in 2021 - winning by four strokes and setting a tournament record of 23 under par.

“This is pretty wild. I didn’t really think this was possible going in today,” said Hovland after winning the recent Slync.io Dubai Desert Classic.
“I knew I had to shoot a really low number but a lot of things had to go my way and I’m thankful that they did.
I was fuming after the three-putt on 15 and thought that was it and I knew I just had to try to finish off well and get a nice position for the week,” he continued.
“I rolled a really long one on 16 and then on 17 and, hey, we got a shot.”
Macdonald Smith and Lloyd Mangrum are the most decorated players in the history of the Genesis Open having won the title four times each.
