An improving Genoa will play host to Napoli in a
2020-21 Serie A match at Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris on Saturday evening.
Grifone are on a four-game unbeaten run in the league following a 3-0 win at Crotone last weekend. Their run of results since the turn of the year has moved them six points clear of the relegation zone heading into Saturday's showdown.
Napoli returned to winning ways in Serie A with a 2-0 win over Parma which came as some relief to head coach Gennaro Gattuso who felt that he had been miss treated by club president Aurelio De Laurentiis, as speculation regarding his future lingered in recent weeks.
"I'm being slaughtered (in the media) every day, it seems like we are second to bottom," Gattuso told Sky Sport Italia. "Now we have won, but if I lose the next two, we are up for discussion again.
"I have always had a good relationship (with De Laurentiis), but I cannot deny that after the last 15-20 days there is a bit of disappointment on my part for everything that has happened.
"Everything was badly managed in my opinion, full stop."
Napoli have lost four of their last nine matches but head into the weekend in fifth spot, nine points behind leaders Milan who have played a game more.

Napoli beat Genoa 6-0 in the reverse fixture in Naples earlier this season, scoring five times in a rampant second-half display. Napoli's Mexican winger Hirving Lozano scored two of their six goals on the day.
