Elche CF will take on FC Barcelona in a Spanish La Liga match at the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero on January 24.
This will be the eighth meeting between Elche and Barcelona across all competitions since 2014.

The last meeting between Elche and Barcelona in a La Liga match was on 24 January 2015.
Barcelona secured an emphatic 6-0 win over Elche in a game which was played at the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero.
Meanwhile, Elche succumbed to a 3-1 defeat to Getafe in their last home in the league which took place on 11 January 2021.
As a result, the Green Striped Ones are winless in their last six home games in La Liga having recorded four draws and two defeats.

Meanwhile, Barcelona thumped Granada 4-0 in their last away match in the league which was played on 9 January 2021.
The win extended Barca's unbeaten run to four matches on the road in La Liga having registered four consecutive victories.
Ronald Koeman, the Barcelona manager, says his side is still on the right path despite their recent defeat to Athletic Bilbao in the Supercopa de Espana final.
“It’s not a step backwards. A title is convenient to show that you’re on the right path," Koeman said.
"But we’ve still shown that we are. We’ve done everything to win, but we were very tired. For many players, it will prove a good experience to have played in this final.”
