The Eagles returned to winning ways in the division with a 5-1 thumping of West Brom last time out. Wilfried Zaha and Christian Benteke scored twice each in a comprehensive win for Palace and manager Roy Hodgson was suitably delighted with the duo's display.

"We know he has that ability. When he can get the ball in the final third, he's very difficult to stop," Hodgson said of Zaha. "What he's added this year is goalscoring, he's always looking to get shots away. That first goal I see a lot in training - it's not a fluke. If he can keep that up, that bodes well for us."

Hodgson was also impressed by Benteke who marked his return to the starting eleven in great style: "Today he showed the type of player he was when we bought him from Liverpool, and he hasn't lost it. Players can still rely on him, and I want to see more of it."

Son Heung-min and Harry Kane were on target for Spurs as they climbed back to the top of the league standings with a 2-0 win over Arsenal last time out.

For the fans

The North London club haven't lost since the opening weekend of the season and have navigated a tough run of fixtures in superb fashion.

"We have played City, Chelsea, Arsenal – if you do three points, four points from those games it is not the end of the world, it is normal. We have taken seven points," Spurs manager Jose Mourinho said.

"We didn't concede one goal against phenomenal teams, of course, we are in a good moment and the team is in a good place mentally, but nothing changes.

"The problem with the Premier League is that next it is Crystal Palace and there is no guarantee we win."

The corresponding fixture last season ended in a 1-1 draw. Harry Kane's opener was followed by a Jeffrey Schlupp equaliser.
