Max Verstappen will be eager to retain the
Italian Grand Prix title and boost his chances of retaining the Formula One world title.

The Red Bull Racing-Honda RBPT driver is simply unstoppable at the moment having won the Dutch Grand Prix on August 27.
Verstappen started on P1 on the grid and he was able to maintain his lead until the end of the memorable race in his home country, Netherlands.
Formula One title ambitions
The Belgian-Dutch racing driver remains at the top of the World Drivers' Championship standings having accumulated 339 points with nine races left.
Verstappen is 138 points clear of second-placed Sergio Perez as the Red Bull Racing-Honda RBPT duo compete for the 2023 Formula One world title.
Why Verstappen could win the 2023 Italian GP
The defending champion will be brimming with once again confidence as he returns to Monza where he won last year's race.
In-form Verstappen has won Miami Grand Prix, Monaco Grand Prix, Spanish Grand Prix, Canadian Grand Prix, Austrian Grand Prix, British Grand Prix, Hungarian Grand Prix Dutch Grand Prix and Dutch Grand Prix in that order this term.
What did he say?
"I feel extremely proud to win the Dutch Grand Prix again and to win nine in a row is a massive achievement, I never thought it would be possible," Verstappen said after winning the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix.
"It’s always amazing to be here and the National anthem before the Grand Prix really gave me goosebumps. Of course, there were a lot of hectic moments today with the rain coming in, the race was all about trying to stay calm and make the right calls at the right time and we did just that.
"There was a fantastic atmosphere here all weekend and being at my home Grand Prix with all the fans makes this win feel even more special. I think everyone was completely soaked after that downpour and still they were listening and dancing to music and having a great time."
