Manchester United will be eager to build on their strong start to the
2021/22 English Premier League season when they take aim at Southampton on Sunday.

The Saints started their campaign with a 3-1 loss at Everton. Adam Armstrong handed them an early lead at Goodison Park but the Toffees fought back to claim all three points.
In contrast, the Red Devils thumped Leeds United 5-1 on the back of a Bruno Fernandes hat-trick and four assists from Paul Pogba.
"People talk about the quality of Paul, but his quality is not in discussion," said Fernandes following United's comprehensive display at Old Trafford last weekend. "We know what he can do and today he showed that. He’s an important player for us."
"We know the quality of the players who have come in, but the team was already very good. We showed it last season," added Fernandes. "We didn’t win trophies, but the team was growing up. We’ll achieve something with this mentality."

United claimed a 3-2 comeback win over Southampton at St Mary's last season before thumping the Saints 9-0 at Old Trafford in the reverse fixture.
