All eyes will be on Scottie Scheffler when he takes part in the 2022
Valero Texas Open having been the standout performer in the 2021/22 PGA Tour season.
The American starlet has been in great form since the turn of the year having won three tournaments and his performances have elevated him to the top of the Official World Golf Ranking.
Scheffler, who hails from Texas, clinched the 2022 WM Phoenix Open on the third hole of a sudden-death playoff against Patrick Cantlay last month.

The former University of Texas student then won his second career PGA Tour title at the 2022 Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando, Florida on March 6.
Schefler, who finished tied for fourth at the 2020 PGA Championship, won by one stroke over Viktor Hovland, Billy Horschel and Tyrrell Hatton at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Three weeks later, Scheffler won the 2022 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play as he defeated Kevin Kisner in the final match on March 27.
With this win at the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play, Scheffler moved to world number one in the Official World Golf Ranking - dethroning Jon Rahm.
"I really don't know what to say. I'm just really pleased. It's a tough week, a long week," Scheffler said after winning the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play.
"I figured out my routine to keep some energy, but I'm pretty worn out right now, to be honest. It's a dream come true to play in front of my hometown fans here, going to school here.
"I have some good memories on this golf course, coming out to watch this tournament. I'm pleased to be playing in it, and even more happy to win it."
