The 2023 Indian
MotoGP will be held at the Buddh International Circuit in a planned city in India, Greater Noida, on 24 September.
What to know about the Indian MotoGP
The race will be taking place for the first time and it is the newest event in the MotoGP world championship which was established in 1949.
The Buddh International Circuit is a 4.970 km (3.088 mi) circuit and it was designed by German architect Hermann Tilke who is a retired racing driver.
The track is spread across an area of 875 acres (354 ha),[5] and is a part of Jaypee Green Sports city.

The 2023 San Marino and Rimini Riviera MotoGP which was the 12th round of the 2023 MotoGP World Championship season took place on 10 September.
The race was won by Ducati rider Jorge Martin while his teammates Marco Bezzecchi and Francesco Bagnaia finished second and third respectively.
Standings
Bagnaia is still placed at the top of riders' standings followed by second-placed Martin and Bezzecchi is placed third with eight races left.
Looking at the constructors' standings, Ducati are sitting at the top - followed by KTM and Aprilia respectively with nine races left.
Favourites
Having failed to win the last two races, Bagnaia, who is the reigning MotoGP world champion, will be determined to secure a win in India.
KTM rider Brad Binder, who is placed fourth on the riders' standings, Bezzecchi and Martin will also fancy their chances in the Indian MotoGP.
