Scottie Scheffler will be keen to bounce back to winning ways by clinching the
Memorial Tournament after missing out on the last two PGA Tour events.

The American star has been a dominant force on the PGA Tour over the past three seasons, recording 10 victories which is more than any other golfer.
Scheffler, who has won back-to-back PGA Tour Player of the Year accolades, recorded four PGA Tour wins in 2022, two in 2023 and four thus far in 2024.

The last time the 1,90m tall golfer was in action was at the recent 2024 Charles Schwab Challenge where he finished second behind champion Davis Riley.
Therefore, Scheffler is still placed at the top of the Official World Golf Rankings and has held that ranking for over 80 weeks.
Why Scheffler is among the favourites
The Texas native is number one in FedExCup points to go with his top world ranking and has not finished outside the top-20 this season, with 10 top-10s in 11 starts.
Scheffler will make his fourth start at the Memorial Tournament with three top-25s on his Tournament resume, his last two starts resulting in third-place finishes.

“I just wasn’t able to put as much pressure as I would have hoped to put on Davis early in the round,” Scheffler said after finishing second at the 2024 Charles Schwab Challenge.
