Manchester City will face off with Manchester United in a
Carabao Cup semi-final second-leg match at the Etihad Stadium on January 29.
The first-leg encounter ended in a 3-1 win in favour of City in a match which was played at the Old Trafford Stadium on January 7.
City are undefeated on their last eight home matches in the Carabao Cup having defeated Southampton in their last home game.
The last time they tasted a defeat at home in the competition was against their city rivals, United in 2016.
Their last appearance in the final was in 2019 when they defeated Chelsea to clinch the trophy.
Pep Guardiola, the City manager, is hopeful the Etihad Stadium crowd can help his players complete the job.

“It is not over as it's United and we saw last season, at PSG for example, what they can do,” Guardiola told the club's official website.
“We have one more game and we'll see what happens. It’s a good result, but hopefully, with our fans, we can make a good game and reach the final again.
Meanwhile, United are undefeated on their last away match in the Carabao Cup having defeated Chelsea.
The last time they tasted a defeat away in the competition was against Bristol City three years ago.
Their last appearance in the final was in 2017 when they defeated Southampton to clinch the trophy.
