Lando Norris will be hoping to boost his ambitions of clinching the 2024 Formula One world title by winning the Hungarian Grand Prix.

The McLaren driver secured a podium spot at the most recent event in the 2024 Formula One campaign which was the British Grand Prix on 7 July.
Norris started on the third grid and he maintained his place until the end of the race - collecting 15 points for finishing third at the Silverstone Circuit.
Formula One title ambitions
The 2023 Lorenzo Bandini Trophy winner is still second in the World Drivers' Championship standings having accumulated 171 points.
Norris is 84 points behind the leader Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing and the former is mounting a serious challenge for the Formula One world title.
Why Norris could win the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix
Norris secured a podium spot for the seventh time in the current season at the British Grand Prix having won the Miami Grand Prix in May.
The 2016 McLaren Autosport BRDC Award winner finished second in last year's Hungarian Grand Prix and he will be keen to go one step further, and win the race this weekend.
What did he say?
“It was a tough race but very enjoyable. A big congratulations to Lewis Hamilton, he executed his race well, so hats off to him and Mercedes," Norris said after the 2024 British Grand Prix.
"It was a lot of fun battling these guys in these conditions, and you’re always on a knife-edge when you’re risking a lot. We did many good things this weekend but there are also lots of things to review.
"This is the place I would love to have everything go perfectly and it just didn't today – but it is still lovely to be on the podium here at Silverstone. We'll come back stronger next race and next year and try again.”
