Egypt will go head to head with Ghana in the

The Pharaohs drew 2-2 with Mozambique on 14 January as they extended their unbeaten run to six matches across all competitions.

Egypt have no suspension and injury concerns coming into this eagerly anticipated clash between two African heavyweights.
However, Mohammed Kudus missed the game against Cape Verde due to an injury and it is unclear if the Ghana star will be available for selection against Egypt.

"It's a massive game and it's a game that we have to get something from and I think what we have experienced," Ghana head coach Chris Hughton said about facing Egypt.
"Even if you look at Senegal in the last Africa Cup of Nations they drew their first two games and won their last game very late in the game.
"So, anything can happen but one thing is for sure that we going to have to get some type of result from that game."

Egypt and Ghana have met 23 times across all competitions. The Pharaohs have recorded 12 wins compared to the Black Stars' five victories, while six games ended in a draw.
The last meeting between the two teams in the AFCON finals saw Egypt beat Ghana 1-0 in the 2017 edition in Gabon.
